This workshop will review the certification and implementation requirements of a Quality Management System. This session also looks at how ISO 9001:2015 can accelerate your competitive advantage to bid on awards, such as SEWP and OASIS. The agenda will include open discussions and recommendations on how to leverage the benefit of a management system, even if you are not ready for certification. It is never too early to begin creating a culture of quality and continual improvement. A brief discussion on other popular ISO standards and how they work together will be included.

The focus of this workshop is on information security, cybersecurity, and privacy.
The session will review how these three components need to be addressed together to ensure risks are correctly identified and holistically mitigated. We will review multiple frameworks within the ISO 27000 family that provide detailed guidance and controls to support security for PII, in the Cloud, within specific industries, etc. An overview of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27017, ISO 27018 and more will be discussed.
This special 2-hour workshop will provide:
• Discussions to identify risks to misuse or breach of data for information security, cybersecurity, and privacy.
• Review of ISO standards to provide overall governance and utilize controls to support risk mitigation

Webinar Description:
Identifying Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and its flow is necessary to determine the scope of an assessment by a C3PAO. CUI is created when information is put on paper or entered into an information system. The flow includes how information is received, what happens to it after receipt, where it’s stored, and where does it get sent. Consider the requirement in NIST SP 800-171 Control the flow of CUI in accordance with approved authorizations. Without having an understanding of how CUI flows, an organization cannot control the flow and ensure access is controlled.
This virtual webinar will provide tips and examples on how to identify and document the flow of CUI within your organization.

Protection of personally identifiable information (PII) is not only a regulatory requirement, but also a business best practice. This includes the PII that is captured and stored in applications used by security practitioners such as access control systems. Creation of a Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) supports the identification of processes and underlying PII elements obtained and stored by the organization. The DPIA further identifies the privacy risks, and the controls to mitigate these risks. This session will identify the role of a DPIA in your organization’s security framework, what a DPIA looks like, and how to utilize the DPIA when looking to mitigate the risks of a privacy breach.
