The assessment phase allows the client to better understand the overall requirements to certification or assessment. It also provides the Radian team to gauge the current maturity of processes and the corporate culture. We use this knowledge to support the implementation phase.
Whether the client needs basic support to guide them through implementation and gap mitigation, Radian consultants support the client with hourly effort including facilitation of key requirements, such as developing a risk program and creating the initial structure of management system. We provide a range of hours we estimate is needed and the client determines their budget and needs. We additionally provide templates and review for all required documentation during this phase. We understand that you also need to run a business, so our consultants support you with scheduled onsite vists and make up the rest of the time through virtual engagement.
A requirement to acheive certification, Radian internal auditors can provide the pre-certification requirements for a full system review. We are happy to train internal staff during this process if needed. Post certification, 95% of our clients retain Radian to support an annual or bi-annual internal audit cycle. Our audit teams follow ISO 19011 which supports the ISO auditing process.
Getting certified for the first time can be daunting, remaining certified is a process of continual improvement. Radian supports 98% of our clients with onsite support during the intial Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification events. We assist in the readiness, provide appropriate guidance during the external audit events and remain respectful of the external auditor’s questioning for information. Post initial certification, many of our clients request us to support them during surveillance and re-certification audits as a valued member of their team.
Once a client has achieved certification, the hard work begins! Staying in compliance of the standard(s) as well as the unique process developed, requires ongoing effort. Clients who can internalize the ISO processess’ as corporate culture have greater success in ongoing management of these requirements.
